TastyFrance Ltd is a company managing commercial websites, using e-business to sell their products. This company is owned by only two people. It was created in 2007 and it is based in Meulan, FRANCE.
TastyFrance, our client, owned a website called www.petitoursonguimauve.fr for which we are going to launch our advertising campaign. This website sells chocolates online; their flagship product is the marshmallow bear. All the products sold are top-of-the-range. They are imported and sold as Limited Edition throughout France.
Their main targets are upper class French women and men from 30 to 50. The product purchase on the website is generally motivated by the desire to make a gift to a loved one. This commercial activity gets peak sales over Christmas, Valentines and Easter periods.
Despite, the entertaining side of our client, the campaign we will launch for this business is going to be a challenge. Indeed, the company’s target group is limited.
Team 8 Google Challenge: Our client search

First of all, we searched about the different types of websites which were likely to become our client for the Google Online Marketing Challenge 2009. Thereafter, we deduced that e-commerce websites and the lead generators were the most interesting for a campaign launch.
The second step was collecting and regrouping on an online document (Google doc) the potentials businesses that each team member found.
The email creation to contact the potential clients was tricky. It should convince the clients about the interests of this competition and reassuring them about the fact that students were able to take charge of such a campaign, and therefore to manipulate their image.
After sending this email to the various businesses we had collected, we unfortunately had very few answers, all of them were negative. The reasons given ranged from « Sorry, we aren’t interested. » to « Sorry, but we already have an AdWords campaign running at the moment ».
With the help of all the other students within Hetic, we finally found a client which fills our needs. By this experience we realized that it wasn’t so easy to convince businesses about this free campaign we offered them.

Artempora LLC is a communication agency specialised in web and video. Artempora suggests to follow the compagnies’ activity evolution thanks to the new communication technologies and come up with the most effective and beneficial solutions.
An adwords campaign for a communication agency is of course not recommended. For this reason, our campaign will essentially be based on Web TV services for particulars and not for the agency itself, keywords related to the communication agencies’ sector being extremely competitive and unadapted to a low cost adwords campaign, which absolutely have to qualify.
The point of a campaign for this kind of service is that there is no (or few) competition, because it is not very popular yet (Artempora agency uses flash technology).
Our objective for this campaign is to create a landing page (for the Web TV promotion) and a contact form associated to it. Access to the Artempora.com Google Analytics platform, disposing of a few months history, will be a key indicator to evaluate the benefits of this campaign.
