Team 15 Google Challenge: Advertiser

Artempora LLC is a communication agency specialised in web and video. Artempora suggests to follow the compagnies’ activity evolution thanks to the new communication technologies and come up with the most effective and beneficial solutions.

An adwords campaign for a communication agency is of course not recommended. For this reason, our campaign will essentially be based on Web TV services for particulars and not for the agency itself, keywords related to the communication agencies’ sector being extremely competitive and unadapted to a low cost adwords campaign, which absolutely have to qualify.

The point of a campaign for this kind of service is that there is no (or few) competition, because it is not very popular yet (Artempora agency uses flash technology).

Our objective for this campaign is to create a landing page (for the Web TV promotion) and a contact form associated to it. Access to the Artempora.com Google Analytics platform, disposing of a few months history, will be a key indicator to evaluate the benefits of this campaign.

Team 15 Google Challenge: Prospective researchwe

For the new Google Challende edition at Hetic, we looked for an anouncer in the e-commerce sector. Many reasons to this ; first of all the conversion tunnel is much more interesting for an e-commerce website. Secondly, It can provide statistic data (Web Analytics) which will allow us to concretely quantify the ROI of our campaign, unlike a lead generation website for example where the financial repercussions of the campaign which can not be quantified.

Thus, we have contacter the Pratik Media (http://www.pratikmedia.com/) company, which develops e-commerce platforms on their own CMS platform. The first contact was very satisfying which will lead to many e-commerce announcers. However, whilst our second contact attempt, Pratik Media did not wish to give any feedback, pretending a lack of time, organisationnal problems and they apparently didn’t want to offer a free Adwords campaign to their clients.

Next to this, and since we didn’t have any e-commerce announcer that filled the Google selection criterias, we finally lowered our expectancies, and opted for a lead generation website, Artempora (http://www.artempora.tv/), a communication agency. Even if this was not the e-commerce website we wanted, this announcer seems trustworthy and trusts us back. They will let us create a landing page for eventual marketing actions and will give us their Google Analytics access codes for data acquisition for several months.

Finally, our network was sufficient to find a good announcer and which the activity sector can give us very interesting campaign perspectives, Web TV services to particulars not being very developped at the moment.

The next step will be to establish a campaign program, divide the work load and create the landing page for this Web TV service.
